The proposed symposium aims to gather a fundamental understanding of the status and gaps in SME digital transformation within the West Midlands. This initiative has the potential to prompt further investigation, leading to the development of long-term projects focused on sustainable solutions. The objectives of the symposium are:
- To identify the factors that impede inclusivity in the digital transformation of SMEs.
- To propose policies aimed at stakeholders, such as local governments, SMEs, and HEAs, to foster inclusivity in the digital ecosystem.
